Third Annual Monroe MusicFest

Come enjoy the great music at our 3rd Annual Monroe MusicFest, Sunday, September 24th, 1-7, at MCC!

The overlapping schedule in Dineson, Wilton Hall and the Meeting House will allow you to choose from: Silver Steel, steel drum band; Larry Wissink, cellist, and Donald Alfano, pianist; Goldrush—Bluegrass, country, Americana; Naida Rozenvald, violinist, accompanied by Janara Khassenova on piano; the very popular Silver Threads Band—folk, rock; the talented a cappella group, Just Voices, performing from their repertoire of Cat Stevens, West Side Story, Amazing Grace and more; Will Duchon, pianist extraordinaire; Alix Raspe, harpist; Beth James, vocalist; Nielsen & Ardise, music from the ‘60s and ‘70s; Ed Chervansky Trio, featuring guitar; Irena Hart, singer-songwriter; The Beekeepers, vocal harmony trio, Americana, acoustic-rock, folk-blues.

In addition, there will be visual artists showing/selling photography, painting, collage, and more.  And, there will be food available for purchase from Burrito Shack which will offer veggie, chicken and pork burritos, fish tacos, and pulled off a pig BBQ sandwiches, in addition to hot dogs, fries and sodas.

Please consider helping MusicFest support Senior PF’s mission, reimburse Trustees for use of the campus and pay the musicians. Defined giving levels are:

  • Platinum = $200+
  • Gold = $150 – 199
  • Silver = $100 – 149
  • Bronze= $50 – 99
  • Other = $Any

Please let us know (by Sept 1) how you would like to be listed in the program and what dedication you would like published (in memory of, in honor of….).

If supporting by check, please make checks payable to MCC and put MusicFest in the memo line.

A single admission cost ($15/person or $30/family) gives you full access to the whole event.
